Firestone Energy Limited (THE “ISSUER”)
ISIN: AU000000FSE6

Removal of Listing Announcement
The Issuer has a secondary listing on the Mainboard of the Johannesburg Stock Exchange (“JSE”). On
19 March 2015, the Issuer was suspended from trading on the JSE at the Issuer’s request in terms of
paragraph 1.10 of the JSE Listings Requirements (“Requirements”). The Issuer has been under
liquidation since December 2017 and the process is still ongoing. Although the above Issuer has been
suspended it is still obliged to comply with the provisions of the Requirements.
The JSE advised the Issuer that it commenced proceedings to remove the Issuer’s listing at the
instance of the JSE pursuant to the provisions of the Requirements, as the Issuer has failed to
remedy various non-compliances with the Requirements.
The JSE provided the Issuer with an opportunity to make written representations as to why the
removal of the Issuer should not be affected.
The Issuer has not been able to show due cause to the JSE as to why the removal of its listing should
not be effected and accordingly the JSE will commence with the removal of the Issuer at its instance.
Shareholders are therefore advised that the Issuer’s listing will be removed from the
commencement of business on Monday, 15 August 2022 and that they will remain shareholders in
an unlisted company. Accordingly, the last day to trade (off-market) will be Monday, 08 August 2022
and the record date will be Friday, 12 August 2022.
