Redemption of SBT104

Redemption of ZAR 1,539,000,000 Additional Tier 1 Notes issued on
29 September   2020   under   the   Standard   Bank   Group   Limited's
("Standard Bank") ZAR50 000 000 000 Domestic Medium Term Note Programme
dated 19 September 2019.

On 29 September 2020, Standard Bank issued ZAR 1,539,000,000 Additional
Tier 1 Notes (the "SBT104 Notes").
The SBT104 Notes are subject to the terms and conditions contained in
the Programme Memorandum dated 19 September 2019 (the "Programme
Memorandum") as read together with the Applicable Pricing Supplement
issued in respect of the SBT104 Notes dated 21 September 2020 (the
"Applicable Pricing Supplement").
In terms of the Applicable Pricing Supplement, Standard Bank has the
option to redeem the SBT104 Notes on 30 September 2025, subject to the
prior written approval of the Prudential Authority.
Pursuant to Condition 33(a) of the Applicable Pricing Supplement and
having obtained the requisite prior written approval from the Prudential
Authority, Standard Bank hereby gives notice that it shall redeem the
SBT104 Notes on 30 September 2025 at 100% of the aggregate nominal amount
thereof, together with any interest accrued thereon up until that date.
