TRADING STATEMENT
In accordance with paragraph 3.4(b) of the JSE Limited Listings Requirements, a listed
company is required to publish a trading statement as soon as it becomes reasonably certain
that the financial results for the next period to be reported on will differ by more than 20% from
the financial results for the previous corresponding period.
The Wesizwe board of directors therefore wishes to advise shareholders that a reasonable
degree of certainty exists that, for the financial year ended 31 December 2024, the Company
will report:
- a loss per share of between 12.78 cents and 12.94, representing an increase in loss per
share of between 11.23 cents and 11.39 cents compared to the loss per share of
1.55 cents reported for the financial year ended 31 December 2023 ("Previous
Comparable Period"); and
- a headline loss per share of between 12.78 cents and 12.94, representing an increase in
loss per share of between 11.23 cents and 11.39 cents compared to the loss per share of
1.55 cents reported for the Previous Comparable Period.
The financial information on which this trading statement is based has not been reviewed and
reported on by the Company's external auditors.
The Company's results for the financial year ended 31 December 2024 are expected to be
published on 30 September 2025.
