CHANGE OF EXTERNAL AUDITORS
In compliance with paragraph 3.78 of the JSE Listings Requirements, and the Companies Act, No.
71 of 2008, shareholders are advised that the Board of Directors of Labat Africa Limited ("the
Board") has after careful consideration resolved to:
1. Terminate the appointment of Khumalo Xaba Xulu (KXX) as the Company's external
auditors with effect from 23 September 2025.This decision follows the challenges
experienced in completing the audit within the required reporting timelines and
2. Appoint P Mapfumo Accountants and Auditors, as the Company's new lead external
auditors, with effect from 23 September 2025.
Mrs Phossina Kaserera will be the Engagement Partner for the audit of the Company's financial
statement for the year end 31 May 2025 and will be supported by two additional IRBA registered
auditors, BG Nubong and Associates Inc and MGT Accounting and Consulting Inc and will also
utilise third party resources if needed for specific components of the audit, in order to meet the
tight deadlines set to complete the audit.
The Board would like to thank Khumalo Xaba Xulu (KXX) for their services to the Company over their
term of appointment.
