ANNOUNCEMENT REGARDING AN INVESTMENT BY FIRSTRAND IN OPTASIA

Shareholders are referred to the announcement released by Channel VAS Investments Limited
(trading as "Optasia") today, 27 October 2025, in which Optasia noted a strategic investment by
FirstRand Limited ("FirstRand").

FirstRand has reached a definitive agreement with certain Optasia shareholders to acquire 20.1%
of Optasia's ordinary shares at ZAR19.00 per ordinary share ("the Transaction"). The Transaction
is an off-market bilateral investment concurrent with Optasia's intended listing of its ordinary
shares on the securities exchange operated by the JSE Limited ("JSE"), as announced on 8
October 2025.

As reported previously, Ethos Capital holds indirect interests in Optasia through underlying Funds
and therefore notes Optasia's announcement and will keep shareholders informed of any
material developments insofar as they relate to Ethos Capital's interest in Optasia, as required in
terms of the JSE Listings Requirements.
