CHANGE TO THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS

In compliance with paragraph 6.71 of the JSE Listings Requirements, shareholders are advised that Ms
Mamokete Emily Ramathe has tendered her resignation as an independent non-executive director of
the Company with effect from 31 March 2027.

Ms Ramathe’s decision to step down follows careful consideration of her increasing professional
commitments associated with her fund management business, together with the acceptance of a new
board appointment. In light of these responsibilities and the associated capacity demands, she has
elected to resign from the Board to ensure that she can devote the necessary time and attention to her
professional commitments.

With effect from the same date, Ms Ramathe will also step down as Chairman of the Social, Ethics and
Sustainability Committee and as a member of the Audit Committee and the Risk Committee. Ms
Ramathe will continue to serve the Board and its committees until the effective date of her resignation.

The Board, assisted by the Nominations Committee, will consider the composition of the Board and of
the affected committees. Shareholders will be advised of any changes in this regard in due course, in
accordance with the JSE Listings Requirements.

Mr Hendrik Roux van der Merwe, Chairman of the Board, said: “On behalf of the Board, I thank
Mamokete for her valued contribution to Master Drilling since her appointment in July 2021, and in
particular for her leadership of the Social, Ethics and Sustainability Committee. We congratulate her on
her new appointment and wish her every success.”
