Murray & Roberts - provisional winding up order
The Company confirmed that on 8 September 2025 the Court granted an order placing Murray & Roberts Holdings under provisional liquidation ("the provisional liquidation order"). In terms of the provisional liquidation order, the matter will return to Court on 17 October 2025, at which time the creditor will seek a final winding up order.
A provisional liquidator is expected to be appointed by the Master of the High Court in due course.
Shareholders should note that the provisional liquidation order relates only to Murray & Roberts Holdings Ltd., the listed entity, and does not impact its downstream subsidiary, Murray & Roberts Ltd., which is a separate legal entity currently under business rescue. The business rescue proceedings in respect of Murray & Roberts Ltd. remain ongoing.
