Implats - trading statement
Implats will release its results for the year ended 30 June 2026 (the "period") on or about 3 September 2026.
Headline earnings and headline earnings per share ("HEPS") for the period are expected to increase to be between R21.8 billion and R23.8 billion and 2 429 cents and 2 652 cents per share, respectively. In the comparative period, the Group reported headline earnings of R0.7 billion and HEPS of 82 cents per share.
Basic earnings and basic earnings per share ("EPS") are expected to increase to be between R30 billion and R32 billion and 3 343 cents and 3 566 cents per share, respectively. Basic earnings for the period benefitted from the reversal of impairments of R8.1 billion, equivalent to 904 cents per share (post-tax), relating to property plant and equipment and the prepaid royalty at Impala Rustenburg due to higher prevailing rand PGM pricing.

Implats - production update
Implats reported a strong FY2026 operating performance, with marginal 0.5% increase in group 6E platinum group metals (PGM) production to 3.50 million ounces. Managed operations production rose by 1%, notably at Impala Rustenburg (+4%) and Zimplats (stable). Refined 6E ounces increased by 5.5% to 3.56 million, driven by record milling and refining volumes. Sales volumes grew by 4% to 3.51 million ounces, supported by higher US dollar prices, resulting in revenue rising over 50% to approximately R38 100 per ounce. Group costs are expected to increase by 8% to around R24 250 per ounce. Capital expenditure for FY2026 is estimated at ZAR7.2 billion, below guidance due to project timing delays. The full financial results for the year ended 30 June 2026 will be released around 3 September 2026.

Implats - safety reset at Impala Rustenburg
Implats announced that it has proactively suspended mining operations at its Impala Rustenburg complex from 24 until 28 July 2026 to conduct a comprehensive safety reset in response to an increase in safety incidents at the operation.
