Implats - results of annual general meeting
Shareholders are informed that the voting results for Implats' hybrid annual general meeting held on Thursday, 29 October 2026, have been finalised. Based on 904 368 485 ordinary shares in issue, some 633 million shares voted, representing 70.04% of shares outstanding.
All resolutions, both ordinary and special, passed by the requisite majority. These included the re-appointment of external auditors, the election and re-election of directors, and the appointment of members to the audit and risk as well as the social, transformation and remuneration committees. Shareholders also approved the remuneration policy and its implementation report, authorised the issue of unissued shares for cash, and sanctioned the repurchase of the company's shares.

Implats - first quarter production report
Implats' first-quarter production report for 1 July to 30 September 2026 highlights five fatalities, casting a shadow over the quarter despite safer operations overall. Lost-time and total-injury frequency rates improved by 14% and 2%, respectively. Group 6E production volumes fell 3% to 854 000 ounces, driven by lower output from managed operations (665 000 ounces) and joint ventures (133 000 ounces), while third-party receipts rose 8%. Gross 6E refined and saleable production dropped 8% to 763 000 ounces, and 6E sales volumes were 6% lower at 796 000 ounces. Impala Rustenburg suffered during a four-day safety reset after rail-bound accidents, and Marula faced a Section 54 stoppage following a winch-related fatality. The Group remains on track for its FY2027 guidance, with the PGM basket price still supporting its strategic goals.
