Nature of Business
Fairvest is a REIT that owns a diversified portfolio of 128 properties. The portfolio consists of a large number of quality assets with a wide range of retail, office and industrial tenants located throughout South Africa which delivers sustainable and growing income through the various economic cycles. The Group’s strategic objective is to divest from office and industrial assets to move towards becoming a retail only focused fund. As at 30 September 2024, Fairvest held a 5.0% interest (2023: 5.0%) in Dipula Income Fund Ltd. (“Dipula”). After year end, on 18 November 2024, Fairvest increased its shareholding to 26.3%.
