    MTNZF - update on the MTNZF Scheme
    MTNZF announced results of an accelerated bookbuild offering (the "Placement") of 23 768 040 MTN Group Ltd. ("MTN") ordinary shares. The Placement raised gross proceeds of approximately R3 billion (that is, prior to costs and any applicable taxes in respect of the Placement). MTNZF intends to use the net proceeds to settle its outstanding preference share funding, pay or provide for any applicable tax, cover Unwind costs and distribute the balance of proceeds to the MTNZf ordinary shareholders at the appropriate time.
