Nedbank - changes to the board and committees
Nedbank announced several board changes. Mr Peter Wharton-Hood was appointed as an independent non-executive director, effective 3 March 2026, bringing extensive banking and finance experience. Stanley Subramoney's tenure has been extended by one year to 29 May 2026. The retirement of Hubert Brody and Brian Dames is scheduled for the same date, after which Phumzile Langeni will be appointed as lead independent director. Several board committees have also undergone changes, including new appointments to the Group Credit Committee, Large-exposure Approval Committee, and others. These updates aim to ensure board continuity and strengthen governance ahead of the upcoming AGM.
