    BHP - streaming transaction with Wheaton completed
    BHP completed a long-term silver streaming agreement with Wheaton Precious Metals International Ltd., a subsidiary of Wheaton Precious Metals Corp., relating to BHP’s share of silver from the Antamina Mine in Peru. BHP received an upfront consideration of USD4.3 billion. In exchange, BHP will deliver 33.75% of the silver produced (subject to a fixed payable rate of 90%) until 100 million ounces are delivered, after which the delivery percentage reduces to 22.5%. The agreement involves no physical silver delivery, settling instead via metal credits.
