Changes to the Board of Directors and Management Changes
As previously announced, it is confirmed that Messrs. Haydn Franklin and
Mike Norris, Executive Directors of Tiger Brands Limited, will retire from
the Company on 31 March 2007. Haydn Franklin and Mike Norris will
accordingly be resigning from the board of Tiger Brands Limited with effect
from close of business on 31 March 2007.
As a consequence of these retirements, the following amendments to line
responsibilities have been made:
Pending the appointment of a Managing Executive - Grains, the grains
businesses will report to Nick Dennis, the Chief Executive Officer of Tiger
Brands.
Neil Brimacombe will assume responsibility for Value Added Meat Products
and Out of Home, in addition to his current responsibilities for Snacks and
Treats and Beverages, and will report to Nick Dennis.
Noel Doyle, the Chief Financial Officer of Tiger Brands, will assume
responsibility for the company`s fishing interests, being Sea Harvest and
Oceana. George Bezuidenhout, the newly appointed Managing Director of Sea
Harvest, will report to Noel.
