APPOINTMENT OF AN INDEPENDENT NON-EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR
The board is pleased to announce that Mr Tshepo Daun Mahloele has been appointed
as an independent non-executive director to the boards of Capitec and Capitec
Bank Limited, the wholly-owned banking subsidiary of Capitec with effect from 1
April 2007. Mr Mahloele (40 years old) obtained a B Proc degree from the
University of Rhodes in 1988. He is the chief executive officer of the Pan
African Infrastructure Development Fund and deputy chairman of Circle Capital
Ventures. He has over 14 years of experience in project finance, private
equity, investment banking and corporate finance.
