Shareholders are advised that the group`s earnings per share and headline
earnings per share are expected to be between 20% and 30% higher than the profit
forecast published in the pre-listing statement dated 30 November 2006.
The difference is due to better than expected trading conditions.
The information contained in this announcement has not been reviewed or audited
by the company`s external auditors. SAB&T`s results for the twelve months ended
28 February 2007 will be published on or before 15 May 2007.
