APPOINTMENT OF TREVOR MUNDAY AS AN INDEPENDENT NON-EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR OF ABSA
GROUP AND ABSA BANK
Trevor Munday has been appointed as an independent non-executive director on the
boards of both Absa Group and Absa Bank, with effect from 16 April 2007.
Mr Munday was the former deputy chief executive and chief financial officer of
Sasol Limited. He retired from the Sasol group in December 2006. He will also
serve on the Absa Group Audit and Compliance Committee.
