CHANGES TO THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE COMPANY
Scharrig Mining is pleased to announce the appointment of Mr Jonathan Best as a
non-executive director of the Company with effect from 1 July 2007. As a
previous Financial Director of AngloGold Ashanti, Mr Best brings a wealth of
mining experience to Scharrig Mining, and shall, in addition, chair the Audit
Committee of the Board.
Mr Tony Scharrighuisen, after a long association with the Company, has decided
to retire from the Board with effect from 30 April 2007. The Board wishes to
thank him for his service of many years, and wishes him well for the future.
