A portfolio in the Satrix Collective Investment Scheme ("Satrix"), registered as
such in terms of the Collective Investment Schemes Control Act, 45 of 2002 (the
"Act")

DISTRIBUTION ANNOUNCEMENT
The manager and trustees of the Satrix Collective Investment Scheme (being
Satrix Managers (Proprietary) Limited and ABSA Bank Limited respectively) have
resolved to make a distribution to holders of Satrix SWIX TOP 40 securities
recorded in the register in respect of the quarter ended 31 March 2007. This
distribution will:
- be an amount of 3,56 cents (three point five six cents) (R0,0356) per
Satrix SWIX TOP 40 security;
- constituted by 3,56 cents in respect of dividends;
- be made to all holders of Satrix SWIX TOP 40 securities recorded in the
register on 30 March 2007;
- be effected on 7th May 2007.
The Satrix SWIX TOP 40 securities had a Total Expense Ratio (TER) of 17,28 basis
points (0,1728%) (annualised) for the period 1st January to 31st March 2007.
17,28 basis points (0,1728%), on an annualised basis, of the average net asset
value of the portfolio were incurred as charges, levies and fees related to the
management of the Satrix SWIX TOP 40 portfolio. The current TER cannot be
regarded as an indication of future TERs.
The Satrix SWIX TOP 40 portfolio engages in scrip lending activities, with the
sole aim of reducing the net expenses in the portfolio. All income received from
scrip lending is used to defray expenses in the portfolio. The Actual Expense
Ratio (AER), including the impact of scrip lending for the above period, is
12,64 basis points (0,1264%) on an annualised basis.
