APPOINTMENT OF NEW DIRECTOR
Johncom today announced, in terms of paragraph 3.59 of the Listings Requirements
of the JSE Limited, that Ms Laura Machaba-Abiodun has been appointed a director
of Johncom with effect from 1 May 2007.
Laura is the chairperson and managing director of management consultancy firm
AMC International Group that specialise in linking individual and organisational
capability building to business strategy for clients in South Africa and the
United States. She has more than 13 years experience in both the private and
public sector in SA and the USA. She was head of Talent & Brand at Woolworths to
December 2006. She serves on the faculty of Duke Corporate Education,
affiliated to Duke University in the USA. Laura is also the chairperson and a
partner at Protect-a-Partner, an auditing and accounting firm.
Chairperson Mashudu Ramano commented: "I welcome Laura to the Johncom Board. She
has extensive experience in the development of organisational capability and
