UPDATED TRADING STATEMENT
Blue was listed on the Alternative Exchange of the JSE on 12 October 2006, and
will be publishing its maiden annual results on SENS on or about the 10 May
2007.
In terms of the Listings Requirements of the JSE Limited ("JSE"), a listed
company is required to publish a trading statement as soon as it becomes aware
that its financial results for the next reporting period will differ by 20% or
more from a profit forecast previously provided to the market in relation to
such period.
Further to the trading statement dated 16 March 2007 in which Blue advised that
actual earnings and headline earnings per share for the financial year ended 28
February 2007 were expected to exceed the projected earnings and headline
earnings per share for that period of 8.28 cents respectively (as depicted in
the pre listing statement) by between 22% and 32%, the board of directors of
Blue now advises that a reasonable degree of certainty exists that earnings per
share and headline earnings per share for the financial year ended 28 February
2007 will exceed projected earnings and headline earnings per share for the
relevant period by between 45% and 50% and by between 61% and 66% respectively.
