RESULTS OF GENERAL MEETING
At the general meeting of SA Eagle shareholders ("shareholders") held today, 9
May 2007, the requisite majority of shareholders approved the resolutions to
change the name from South African Eagle Insurance Company Limited to Zurich
Insurance Company South Africa Limited, as detailed in the circular that was
posted to shareholders on 16 April 2007.
The special resolution will be lodged for registration with the Registrar of
Companies in due course.
Shareholders are reminded of the salient dates and times for the change of name,
as detailed below:

Last day to trade under the old name "SA Eagle" Friday, 27 July 2007
Change of name effective from close of business on Friday, 27 July 2007
Trade under the new name "Zurich Insurance Company
South Africa Limited" from commencement of trading on Monday, 30 July 2007
Record date Friday, 3 August 2007
New share certificates reflecting the change of name
posted by registered post to certificated
shareholders who have surrendered their documents of
title on or before the close of business on the
record date (see note 2) Monday, 6 August 2007
Dematerialised shareholders` safe custody accounts
updated with the new name by their CSDP/broker Monday, 6 August 2007
Notes
Shareholders will not be able to dematerialise or rematerialise securities in
the name of SA Eagle after Friday, 27 July 2007, and may only dematerialise
their new Zurich Insurance Company South Africa Limited shares from Monday, 6
August 2007.
Shareholders who surrender their existing documents of title after the record
date, will have their new share certificates mailed within five business days of
receipt thereof by the transfer secretaries, by registered post in South Africa,
at the risk of the shareholder concerned.
