CAUTIONARY ANNOUNCEMENT
Shareholders of Metrofile are advised that on Sunday, 6 May 2007, Iron
Mountain Incorporated ("Iron Mountain"), a United States based documents
storage company listed on the New York Stock Exchange ,submitted a non-
binding expression of interest to the board of directors of Metrofile ("the
Board")for the acquisition, by Iron Mountain or a subsidiary to be formed
and/or nominated by Iron Mountain, of the entire issued share capital of
Metrofile, other than the 25% shareholding held by Mineworkers Investment
Company (Proprietary) Limited and any of its subsidiary companies, for a
price of 140 cents per Metrofile ordinary share ("the Offer"), which
represents a 5.3% premium to a 30-day volume weighted average price to the
date on which the Offer was received.
The Board has established a sub-committee of independent directors to
manage the process relating to the non-binding expression of interest and
is currently in discussions with Iron Mountain.
Accordingly, shareholders of Metrofile are advised to exercise caution when
dealing in the Company`s securities until a further announcement is made.
