NAME CHANGE FROM LONRHO AFRICA PLC
Following approval from shareholders at the Company`s AGM, Lonrho Africa Plc has
changed its name to Lonrho Plc effective from 10 May 2007.
David Lenigas, Lonrho`s Executive Chairman and Chief Executive, commented:
"The change back to the original Lonrho name is consistent with our
determination to build on the strong reputation and recognition that the Lonrho
brand enjoys in Africa.
The Company has already demonstrated its ability to execute value adding deals
in its targeted business sectors and we believe our potential deal flow will
increase through the resonance of the Lonrho brand."
