TRADING STATEMENT
Moneyweb is currently finalising its results in respect of the year ended 31
March 2007 ("the reporting period").
In terms of paragraph 3.4(b) of the Listings Requirements of the JSE Securities
Exchange South Africa, relating to Trading Statements, a listed company is
required to publish a trading statement as soon as it becomes aware that the
financial results for the next period to be reported on will differ by at least
20% or more from those of the prior comparative period.
Shareholders are advised that Moneyweb will be reporting earnings of between
1.50 and 1.80 cents per share and headline earnings of between 1.50 and 1.80
cents per share for the reporting period compared to earnings of 0.65 cents per
share and headline earnings of 1.15 cents per share in respect of the prior
comparative period, being the year ended 31 March 2006.
The financial results on which this trading statement has been based have not
been reviewed and reported on by the Company`s auditors. They are expected to be
finalised and published on the Securities Exchange News Service on or about 22
May 2007.
