PLACEMENT OF DIRECTORS` SHARES WITH INSTITUTIONAL INVESTORS
Major shareholders of Sanyati have sold 19,825 million shares at R2.65 per share
to various fund managers and institutions through a Share Block Placement. The
sale of shares is inline with the company`s objective to expand its
institutional shareholding base. The placement will also increase the free float
of Sanyati shares with a resulting improvement in liquidity.
In compliance with rule of 3.63 to 3.65 of the JSE Listing Requirements, the

above-mentioned Share Block Placement:
