DECLARED DIVIDEND ANNOUNCEMENT ON AFRICAN BANK INVESTMENTS LIMITED ENHANCED
DIVIDEND SECURITIES - ("ABLIDD")
With reference to the dividend announcement on Monday, 14 May 2007, the
Directors of African Bank Investments Limited have declared a dividend of 95
cents per ordinary share payable on Monday, 18 June 2007 to ordinary
shareholders recorded in the books of the company at the close of business on
Friday, 15 June 2007.
Accordingly, the warrant holders of the Enhanced Dividend Securities, ABLIDD,
will receive an African Bank Investments Limited dividend of 95 cents per
security on Monday, 18 June 2007 in terms of the Cession clause incorporated in
the Supplement between the holders and Investec Bank Limited. The last day to
trade ("cum" the dividend) in order to participate in the dividend will be
Friday, 8 June 2007.
ABLIDD Enhanced Dividend Securities will commence trading "ex" the dividend from
the commencement of business on Monday, 11 June 2007, and the record date will
be Friday, 15 June 2007.
