DECLARED CAPITAL DISTRIBUTION OUT OF SHARE PREMIUM ANNOUNCEMENT ON DATATEC
LIMITED ENHANCED DIVIDEND SECURITIES - ("DTCIDB")
With reference to the capital distribution out of share premium announcement on
Wednesday, 16 May 2007, the Directors of Datatec Limited have declared a capital
distribution out of share premium of 70 cents per ordinary share payable on
Monday, 9 July 2007 to ordinary shareholders recorded in the books of the
company at the close of business on Friday, 6 July 2007.
Accordingly, the warrant holders of the Enhanced Dividend Securities, DTCIDB,
will receive a Datatec Limited capital distribution out of share premium of 70
cents per security on Monday, 9 July 2007 in terms of the Cession clause
incorporated in the Supplement between the holders and Investec Bank Limited.
The last day to trade in order to participate in the distribution will be
Friday, 29 June 2007.
DTCIDB Enhanced Dividend Securities will commence trading "ex" the distribution
from the commencement of business on Monday, 2 July 2007, and the record date
will be Friday, 6 July 2007.
