FTSE/JSE Africa Series Quarterly Index Review and Futures Close-Out
According to the FTSE/JSE Ground rules the quarterly index review changes are
implemented on the next trading day following the third Friday of the review
meeting month. The review meeting months are March, June, September and
December. These dates are usually after futures close-out except if the first of
that month falls on a Friday.
This Index Change Advice serves to alert all index users that the 1st of June
will be on a Friday, hence the review changes will occur before futures close-
out. The quarterly index review will become effective at the close of business
on 15 June 2007 and the futures close out will take place the following week on
the 21st of June 2007.
