Competition Commission approval for the Malans acquisition
Shareholders are referred to the detailed announcement of the Malans acquisition
dated 7 February 2007.
The Competition Commission has conditionally approved the Malans acquisition.
The exact nature of the conditions remain a matter of confidentiality between
the Competition Commission and the parties. The implementation of the merger
conditions are not expected to have a material impact on headline earnings or
net asset value per share of Afrimat. All the conditions precedent for the
Malans acquisition have now been fulfilled.
