APPOINTMENT OF A NON-EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR
In compliance with section 3.59 of the Listings Requirements of the JSE Limited,
the Board of directors of Liberty Group Limited is pleased to announce the
appointment of Mr T D A Ross to the Board as a non-executive director with
effect from 1 June 2007. Mr Ross is currently the lead client service partner
on the World Cup 2010 initiative for Deloitte SA and is advisory partner on
certain Deloitte Crown Jewel clients. Mr Ross served on the Deloitte Haskins &
Sells Board and the joint Board after the merger of Deloitte Haskins & Sells and
Pim Goldby. He was partner in charge of the Johannesburg audit practice and was
client service director for the firm.
Mr Ross holds a CTA, CA (SA) and the Executive Development Programme Diploma
from Wits Business School.
