DECLARED INTERIM DISTRIBUTION OUT OF SHARE PREMIUM AND DIVIDEND ANNOUNCEMENT
ON BARLOWORLD LIMITED ENHANCED DIVIDEND SECURITIES - ("BAWIDC")
With reference to the interim distribution out of share premium and dividend
announcement dated 8 June 2007, the Directors of Barloworld Limited have
declared an interim distribution of 175 cents per ordinary share payable on
Monday, 2 July 2007 to ordinary shareholders as an interim distribution out of
share premium of 111 cents per ordinary share and a dividend of 64 cents per
ordinary share, recorded in the books of the company at the close of business
on Friday, 29 June 2007.
Accordingly, the warrant holders of the Enhanced Dividend Securities, BAWIDC,
will receive a Barloworld Limited interim distribution of 175 cents per
security as an interim distribution out of share premium of 111 cents per
share and a dividend of 64 cents per share, payable on Monday, 2 July 2007, in
terms of the Cession clause incorporated in the Supplement between the holders
and Investec Bank Limited. The last day to trade (cum the dividend) in order
to participate in the dividend will be Friday, 22 June 2007.
BAWIDC Enhanced Dividend Securities will commence trading ex the interim
distribution out of share premium and dividend from the commencement of
business on Monday, 25 June 2007, and the record date will be Friday, 29 June
2007.
