TRADING STATEMENT
In terms of the Listings Requirements of the JSE Limited ("JSE"), a listed
company is required to publish a trading statement as soon as it becomes aware
that its financial results for the period to be reported on will differ by 20%
or more from the published comparative prior year audited results.
Shareholders are advised that Alliance Data is currently finalising its results
for the year ended 28 February 2007 and are advised that Alliance Data`s
earnings and headline earnings per share for the year ended 28 February 2007 is
expected to increase by between 130% to 150% over that of the published
comparative prior year audited results. This financial information on which this
trading statement is based has not been reviewed or reported on by Alliance
Data`s auditors.
The results for the year ended 28 February 2007 are expected to be published on
SENS by no later than 20 June 2007.
