RESULTS OF THE ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING AND RETIREMENT OF DIRECTOR
Shareholders are advised that, at the annual general meeting of the Company
held in Cape Town on Thursday, 14 June 2007, all the resolutions contained
in the notice of the annual general meeting (dated 8 May 2007) have been
passed by the requisite majority of shareholders. The special resolution
will be submitted for registration at the Registrar of Companies in due
course.
Colin Hultzer, who has been a member of the Board of Directors of the
Company (the "Board") and Chairman of the Audit, Risk and compliance
committee for many years, has decided to retire from the Board effective
today. We thank him most sincerely for his dedication and valuable service
to the group.
