SALIENT DATES ANNOUNCEMENT IN RESPECT OF THE COMPANY`S PROPOSED BLACK ECONOMIC
EMPOWERMENT TRANSACTION, A SUB-DIVISION OF SHARE CAPITAL, THE ADOPTION OF NEW
ARTICLES OF ASSOCIATION AND THE ADOPTION OF NEW EMPLOYEE SHARE INCENTIVE
SCHEMES
Shareholders are referred to the announcement dated 10 May 2007 in relation to
the above proposed corporate actions and are advised that a circular containing
details of these proposals and including a notice of general meeting of
shareholders was issued on 20 June 2007.
The salient dates for the proposed corporate actions are as follows:

Last day to lodge forms of proxy (in respect Wednesday, 11 July

shareholders) by 10:00 on
General meeting of Italtile shareholders at Thursday, 12 July

Notes
1. The abovementioned dates and times are subject to change. Any changes will
be announced in the press and on SENS.
2. Dematerialised shareholders are required to notify their CSDP or broker as
to the manner in which they wish to vote their Italtile shares at the
general meeting in the manner and time stipulated in the agreement
governing the relationship between the shareholder and their CSDP or
broker.
3. All times indicated are South African times.
4. Share certificates in the pre-subdivided form may not be dematerialised
after Thursday, 2 August 2007.
