PRIVATE PLACEMENT OF IMPERIAL HOLDINGS LIMITED NON-REDEEMABLE, NON-PARTICIPATING
PREFERENCE SHARES
Shareholders are referred to the original issue by Imperial of non-redeemable,
non-participating preference shares with a par value of ZAR 0.04 (four cent)
each ("preference shares") which took place in November 2006.
Imperial has raised a further ZAR 150 million by way of a private placement of 1
540 041 preference shares at ZAR97.40 per preference share.
The new preference shares will rank pari passu with the preference shares
currently in issue. Listing of the new preference shares will commence in the
"Specialist Securities - Preference Shares" sector of the JSE Limited`s list
with effect from the commencement of business on Monday 25 June 2007.
