AUDITED RESULTS
Siyathenga`s audited results are expected to be published on SENS and in the
press on or about Thursday, 23 August 2007.
DECLARATION OF INTEREST DISTRIBUTION NUMBER 4
Notice is hereby given of the declaration of the final interest distribution of
30,00 cents per linked unit for the six months to 30 June 2007 ("the final
distribution").
In accordance with the Company`s debenture trust deed, Siyathenga linked
unitholders participate in the underlying income streams derived from the
Company`s assets, by distributing 99% of income generated (after providing for
operating expenditure, maintenance and other provisions). Such income generated
is distributed by way of interest payments and no dividends are therefore
declared.
Linked unitholders are referred to the announcement dated 21 February 2007 in
which the interim interest distribution of 27,5 cents per linked unit, for the
six months ended 31 December 2006, was declared. The aggregate distribution for
the year ending 30 June 2007 is therefore 57,5 cents per linked unit,
representing a 10,61% increase in comparison to the prior year`s annualised
distribution.
The last day to trade in order to receive the distribution is Friday, 28
September 2007 and the linked units will commence trading ex distribution on
Monday, 1 October 2007 with the record date being Friday, 5 October 2007.
Payment of the distribution of 30,00 cents per linked unit will be effected on
Monday, 8 October 2007.
Linked unit certificates may not be dematerialised or rematerialised between
Monday, 1 October 2007 to Friday, 5 October 2007 (both days inclusive).
The directors of Siyathenga are of the opinion that sufficient funds will be
available to meet the obligations in terms of this declaration. The final
distribution has not been audited.
