Further to the notice issue on 25 June 2007 and in accordance with the
proposed unbundling of Mondi Ltd and Mondi Plc from Anglo American (South
Africa, constituent), FTSE and the JSE announces the following changes:

be added to the index with a

status in the FTSE/JSE Africa Top 40, FTSE/JSE Africa Capped Top 40 and
FTSE/JSE Africa Shareholder Weighted Top 40 indices will be assessed using
the closing price of Mondi Ltd on 2 July 2007. A further FTSE/JSE notice
will be issued after close on 2 July 2007 detailing resulting index
changes.
Mondi Ltd and Plc`s ICB Classification will be 1737 (Paper).
The Value and Growth rating within the FTSE/JSE Africa Style Index will be
as follows:
