DECLARED FINAL DIVIDEND ANNOUNCEMENT ON SABMILLER PLC - ENHANCED DISTRIBUTION

With reference to the dividend announcement on Thursday, 17 May 2007, the
Directors of SABMiller plc have declared a final dividend of 255.08250 cents per
ordinary share based on an exchange rate of US$:R = R7.085625 payable on
Tuesday, 7 August 2007 to ordinary shareholders recorded in the books of the
company at the close of business on Friday, 13 July 2007.
Accordingly, the warrant holders of the Enhanced Distribution Securities,
SABIDB, will receive a SABMiller plc dividend of 255.08250 cents per security
payable on Tuesday, 7 August 2007 in terms of the Cession clause incorporated in
the Supplement between the holders and Investec Bank Limited. The last day to
trade ("cum" the dividend) in order to participate in the dividend will be
Friday, 6 July 2007.
SABIDB Enhanced Distribution Securities will commence trading "ex" the dividend
from the commencement of business on Monday, 9 July 2007, and the record date
will be Friday, 13 July 2007.
