The board of Aveng wishes to announce that Carl Grim, who has been Chief        
Executive Officer of the company since its formation in 1998, has indicated his 
intention to retire in 2008.  As a result a process to select a replacement for 
Carl from either inside or outside of the Aveng group, has been initiated.      
Shareholders will be informed as soon as a new CEO has been appointed.
