TRADING STATEMENT
Shareholders are advised that the company anticipates headline earnings per
share and earnings per share (excluding the capital profit of R6,4 billion on
the sale of Holcim (South Africa) (Pty) Limited) for the year ended 30 June 2007
to exceed the published headline earnings per share and earnings per share for
the year ended 30 June 2006 by between 100 and 120 percent. The results of
Holcim (South Africa) will be equity accounted to the end of May 2007. The
financial statements for the year ended 30 June 2007 are expected to be released
on Monday 10 September 2007. The financial information in this trading
statement has not been reviewed or audited by the company`s auditors.
