RESULTS OF THE RIGHTS OFFER
Shareholders are referred to the announcement dated Thursday, 17 May 2007 in
which they were given details of a rights offer of 37 814 592 new ordinary
shares ("the rights shares") at an issue price of 120 cents per share to raise
R45.4 million ("the rights offer"). The rights offer closed on Friday, 29 June
2007 and 37 129 910 rights shares, being 98.2% of the rights shares available,
were subscribed for by existing Purple Capital shareholders and their
renouncees.
Holders of certificated shares will have new share certificates posted to them
on or about Monday, 2 July 2007. CSDP/Broker accounts will be debited and
updated on Monday, 2 July 2007.
