Shareholders are referred to the announcement of 15 June 2007 and advised that
the special resolution in respect of the company`s preference share
consolidation has been registered by the Registrar of Companies.
Accordingly, shareholders should take note of the remaining salient dates and
times, as set out below, which will now be applicable:

Record date for the preference share consolidation Friday, 27 July
Operative date for the preference share consolidation Monday, 30 July
Holders of dematerialised preference shares will have Monday, 30 July
their accounts at their CSDP or broker updated on
New preference share certificates will be posted to the Monday, 30 July
holders of certificated preference shares, provided
that their old preference share certificates have been
surrendered on or before 12:00 on Friday, 27 July 2007
(or within 5 business days of receipt thereafter)
Note:
Any changes to the above dates and times will be released on SENS and published
in the press.
Existing preference share certificates may not be dematerialised or
rematerialised after Friday, 20 July 2007.
