TRADING STATEMENT
Matodzi is expecting attributable earnings of R259 687 000, an increase of
98.7% on the previously reported earnings of R130 678 000 for the
comparative period. Matodzi is expecting earnings of between 68 and 72
cents per share, and a headline loss of between 12 and 14 cents per share
for the year ended 31 March 2007. Matodzi previously reported a headline
loss of 33.2 cents per share for the comparative period, representing a
decrease of 60%.
The information in this trading statement has not been reviewed by
Matodzi`s auditors. Matodzi is expecting to publish its reviewed results
for the year ended 31 March 2007 on or about 16 July 2007.
