Pursuant to par 3.59 of the Listings Requirements of the JSE Limited, Ventel
hereby informs shareholders of the following changes to the board of
directors:
- Mr Johan Botha, an executive director, has tendered his resignation with
effect from 11 July 2007 and
- Mr Neville Toerien has been appointed a non-executive director and member
of the Audit Committee with effect from 18 July 2007.
Neville Toerien (BA LLB, Attorney of the High Court) is the CEO of Probity
Business Services (Pty) Ltd which provides company secretarial and corporate
governance services to a number of JSE listed companies, including Ventel.
