ANNOUNCEMENT
Shareholders are referred to the announcement released on SENS on 18 June
2007 regarding the introduction of Black Economic shareholding.
In the announcement it was mentioned that in terms of the Securities
Regulation Code on Takeovers and Mergers, the restructuring is deemed an
"affected transaction" and that application has been made to the Securities
Regulation Panel ("SRP") for exemption for the requirements of an "affected
transaction".
Shareholders are advised that the SRP has granted Omnia exemption in terms of
Rule 34 of the Code on Takeovers and Mergers for compliance with the Rules of
the SRP.
