ARMED ROBBERY: PAARDEBERG EAST BULK SAMPLING FACILITY
Diamond Core Resources Limited ("the Company") wishes to advise
shareholders of an armed robbery at the Paardeberg East bulk sampling
facility during the early hours of Monday 30th July 2007 during which
diamond product in excess of 400 carats recovered from bulk sampling
operations at the PK1 kimberlite was stolen.
Theo Botoulas, CEO of the Company, commented that "The loss of the bulk
sampling product is regrettable but the directors and management of the
Company are thankful that no serious injuries or loss of life occurred
during the attack. The Company will review all procedures with regard to
security and diamond product and will institute the requisite improvements
where possible and cost effective. The matter is now in the capable hands
of the Company Security officials and the South African Police Services".
