The undermentioned announcement is published in compliance with paragraph 3.59
of the Listing Requirements of the JSE Limited.
The Board of Netcare wishes to announce the retirement of Mr. Norman Weltman
as an executive director on 31 July 2007 for health reasons. Mr. Weltman has
agreed to remain on the Netcare Board as a non-executive director and as such,
will continue to make available to the Board his healthcare industry
experience gleaned over the last 15 years.
The Board wishes to express its gratitude and appreciation to Mr. Weltman for
his contribution to the growth and development of Netcare.
The Board is pleased to announce that Mr. Weltman`s executive responsibility
for Funder Relations will be assumed by Mr. Mark Bishop with effect from 1
August 2007. Mr. Bishop has been appointed to the Netcare Management
Committee and has had more than ten years experience in the healthcare funder
relations field.
