CHANGE TO THE BOARD
In compliance with the JSE Limited Listings Requirements, the following
information is disclosed:
In order to pursue other opportunities, Mr. Alan Farthing has resigned as the
financial director of Business Connexion, with effect from 1 August 2007. Alan
will leave the Group by the
31 August 2007 after handing over to his successor. The Board extends its
appreciation to Alan and thanks him for his valuable contribution over the
years that he served as a director.
Mr. Marius Schoeman (CA) (SA), who joined Business Connexion (Proprietary)
Limited in 2001 as the Group Executive, Commercial Services, has been
appointed as the financial director with effect from 1 August 2007. Marius is
currently managing the long term IT Outsource Contract with the Sasol Group of
Companies. Marius is a member of the Business Connexion (Proprietary) Limited
board of directors, the Business Connexion Audit and Policy Executive
Committee and the Investment Committee.
As a registered accountant, Marius is a member of SAICA`s Ethics Committee.
Business Connexion welcomes Marius to the Board and is confident that his
contribution to the Group will be of great value.
