Shareholders of Medi-Clinic ("shareholders") are advised that the Company,
through a wholly owned subsidiary, is in an advanced stage of negotiations
regarding a proposed acquisition which, if successfully concluded, may have a
material impact on the price at which Medi-Clinic shares trade on the JSE
Limited.
Accordingly, shareholders are advised to exercise caution when dealing in their
shares until a further announcement is made.
