GRANTING OF SHARE OPTIONS TO DIRECTORS
In compliance with paragraph 3.63 of the Listings Requirements of the JSE
Limited ("Listings Requirements), the following information is provided on
behalf of JD Group directors and directors of its major subsidiary, JDG Trading
(Pty) Ltd,
On all the disclosures provided:
clearance was obtained from the Remuneration Committee as required in terms of
paragraph 3.66 of the Listings Requirements before the share options were
granted to directors and the company secretary; the class of all shares is
ordinary; the share options were granted on 31 July 2007; and the strike price
is R63,63 (90% of R70,70 which is the closing price as at 30 July 2007).
